Start-Up Kits

Case Worker Referral Only

Start-Up Kits provide a small number of household items to previously homeless men, women and families who have moved into permanent supportive or transitional housing programs. The Start-Up Kit program is a case worker referred program. To make a referral for a kit, contact the Mission Director or Assistant Director by phone, fax or email. Referrals should include the client’s name, date of birth and new address.

Clients can pick up the kit on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. after the referral has been made.

Start up Kits include: plates, glasses, coffee cups, bowls, bath towels, face towels and wash clothes, 1 set of sheets, a bath mat, shower curtain, 1 skillet, 1 pot/pan, forks, knives and spoons, 1 blanket/bed spread and 1 hand can opener.
