Individual or with a Friend - Volunteer Opportunities
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY ~ 9:45 am to 1:00 pm
WEDNESDAY ~ 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- Food bank - sacking groceries - Wednesday and Thursday
- Infant Formula (one or two days a month) - Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday.
- Clothing Bank - sorting clothes and working with clients - All days
TUESDAY
Restocking – 8:30am to Noon
Need volunteers for Tuesdays to restock the food bank shelves and to
pick up food from Tarrant Area Food Bank and unload grocery supply truck.
WEDNESDAY
Night Clothes Sorting– 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Need volunteers on the 4th Wednesday night of each month to sort and hang clothing donations.
SUBSTITUTE Volunteer Positions
Monday, Wednesday or Thursday
9:45 am to 1:00 pm
- We need volunteers who are willing to be trained in various areas of the Mission as computer operators and/or client service assistants
- We have substitute volunteer opportunities available in the food bank
- As a substitute in the clothing bank area: client service & hanging clothes
- As a substitute in the infant formula area
ADMINISTRATIVE/COMPUTER Volunteer Opportunities
Monday or Wednesday afternoon
We are also in need of one or two Office Administrative/Computer volunteers
During client operation hours - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bilingual volunteers are greatly needed to help out in all departments translating client’s needs.
